The Portland Japanese Garden is a haven of beauty, dedicated to authentic Japanese garden design and sharing Japanese culture. It is located in Oregon, US.
I want my back yard to look like this.
Honestly, Japanese gardens are amazing. There is a focus on natural forms, using stones to represent the mountainous landscape of Japan, water features to represent the ocean, and each plant chosen (normally a small variety used repetitively) has some sort of significance to the client or the designer. I can’t wait to see some in person one day.
